THHBFB09B - Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol

Course Objectives

The THHBFB09B — Provide Responsible service of alcohol course is designed to provide liquor service staff with the knowledge and awareness necessary to responsibly serve alcohol on licensed premises.

Currently, in Victoria, it is compulsory to complete an approved RSA course if:
  • You are employed at a supermarket or stand alone bottle shop which holds a packaged liquor license.
  • You are working at a venue which has on its licence a condition that required staff to hold an RSA certificate
  • You are applying for a new liquor licence

The THHBFB09B — Provide Responsible service of alcohol unit deals with the skills and knowledge required to satisfy the requirements for responsible service of alcohol under State/ Territory legislation. All students that are undertaking training as part of a National Certificate in the service of alcohol must complete this unit.
