Support for Aged Care Training 6

The Support for Aged Care Training Program funds the provision of training for personal care workers in rural and remote locations who work in eligible residential aged care facilities, multi‐purpose services and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flexible Care Services.

Funding is available under this program to support personal care staff gain a full or partial qualification in the nationally recognised qualifications listed below:

2002 Training Package (available for new enrolments until July 2009)

  • Certificate III in Aged Care (CHC30102)
  • Certificate IV in Aged Care (CHC40102)
  • Certificate IV in Community Services (Lifestyle and Leisure) (CHC41602)

2008 Training Package (available from April 2009)

  • Certificate III in Aged Care (CHC30108)
  • Certificate IV in Aged Care (CHC40108)
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle (CHC40608)
 
Pragmatic Training is the National Provider of this training. Completed Expression of Interest Forms should be returned to Pragmatic Training to allow the desired training to be arranged.
