Apprenticeships Melbourne is an Australian Apprenticeship Centre contracted by the Australian Government (Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations) to deliver free Australian Apprenticeship Support Services to Employers, Australian Apprentices, Schools, Training Providers and the wider community.

 

Apprenticeships Melbourne:

  - Provides free information and support services to employers and Australian Apprentices

  - Assists with the signing of Training Contracts and registration with the State Training Authority (STA)

  - Assesses, approves and processes payment of employer and Australian Apprentice incentives

 

An apprenticeship or traineeship can be undertaken on a full-time or part-time basis and is suitable for people of all ages.

Apprenticeships or traineeships comprise a mixture of structured training supported by a specified period of employment supervision and hands on experience in the workplace.
