Pragmatic Training’s own takes on the challenge of New Year New Career!

Sally McCormack is just one of 21 Pragmatic Group staff members taking on the New Year New Career Challenge. Her challenge -
embarking on a dual Diploma of Management and Diploma of Management (Human Resource Management).

Having previously completed a Certificate III in business administration, Sally is determined to complete further qualifications. “I have always wanted my career to move towards a management role, and as I have gained more work experience my interest in HRM has also grown,” Sally said.

While working full time and studying may seem daunting, Sally admits that in the beginning it was hard for her to get organised. She advises, “It’s about prioritising. You need to have a planned schedule, and block out periods of time during the week to dedicate to study.”

Sally continues, “I plan to get my course finished by the end of the year. It’s a nice steady pace, you could do it quicker, but this is what works for me.”

“These Diplomas’ give me the opportunity to explore in more detail opportunities in the HR industry and gain Nationally Recognised Qualifications. They will open doors for my career in the future”.
