The nationally recognised CHC50802 - Diploma of Community Services (Lifestyle and Leisure) course
reflects the role of individuals that work within residential facilities and/or in community agencies and day centres, under supervision with defined organisational. These workers design, implement and evaluate health and leisure for clients in one or more sector areas. These workers may be responsible for other workers. Work may be under professional supervision within defined organisational guidelines or as sole practitioners. Workers at this level are required to have an understanding of Indigenous culture and history and to work with local communities in the provision of services.
Employment titles may include: Lifestyle and Leisure Coordinator within an aged care facility or Community Centre Co-ordinator.

Certificate IV in Community Services (Lifestyle and leisure), is a prerequisite to this diploma course. Students must also provide a current Police check. A literacy and numeracy test is required before commencement of all Pragmatic Training qualification courses.
Flexible delivery options include classroom based, distance via correspondence and workplace based. Pragmatic Training formally recognises prior learning (RPL/RCC) and Credit Transfer. Where possible State / Commonwealth Government Funding will be sought.
