Before commencing placement we ask in conjunction with your trainer that you source a long day care for your placement.  During this stage a placement agreement form will be signed by all three parties (The student, Pragmatic Training and The Long day care facility of your choice).  This agreement will state the dates and times you will be attending placement.  75hours must be completed in a 0-2 year old room, and the remaining 75 hours is to be completed in a kinder or toddler room.  This can be negotiable with your trainer in certain circumstances.

Following your placement you will need to submit your placement booklet which is your written component and tasks, as well as Third Party Reports which have been signed off by you the student and your workplace supervisor.  During your placement your trainer will come out and assess you on your practical component and gather feedback from the workplace.  Your trainer will also provide a training session for on the job training at this stage.
