Assessment

All programs in the qualification are assessed through on and off the job assessment tasks and a work-based project, which requires you to compile a range of evidence to demonstrate competency. These assessments consolidate the knowledge and skills gained during a learning and assessment program to enable validation and transfer of learning to the individual workplace context.

Successful completion and demonstrated competence in a single unit of competence entitles you to the award of a Statement of Attainment for the relevant unit of competence. Successful completion and demonstrated competence of the set of 8 units of competencey qualifies you for the award of a BSB51107 — Diploma of Management.

Modes of Delivery and Course Structure

The course is offered in the class room and via a flexible distance learning approach. The course consists of on and off the job assessment.

Skills Recognition — Exemptions/Transfers

Students may be eligible for exemptions/transfers on the basis of previous qualifications.

Further Study Links

After satisfactorily completing the Diploma of Management students may wish to further their studies to the Advanced Diploma of Management or apply to University to undertake a Bachelor of Business program. University requirements may vary. Students are able to exit at Certificate III and Certificate IV levels if they do not wish to complete the Diploma.
