BSB41507 — Certificate IV in Project Management introduces the basics of project management and reflects the cross-industry application of the work functions normally undertaken by a project team. It provides the theory and core methodology you will need to manage projects or participate on project teams.
The Certificate IV in Project Management spans all phases of a project from concept through to close-out, including setting time lines, schedules and targets, project costing and budget management, monitoring quality, communicating with key stakeholders and recruiting/leading appropriately skilled personnel to work on the project.
This qualification is aimed at people who want to pursue a career in project management working as either as a project team member or as a project officer.

The Certificate IV in Project Management is designed around work-based tasks and projects. This allows the participant to gain experience in real situations and have the opportunity to practice and develop skills, interact with colleagues and clients and utilise their growing knowledge of their company’s processes, products and services. Individualisation of the program means tasks are aimed towards the workplace, allowing study to be integrated into daily activities.
Students may be eligible for exemptions/transfers on the basis of previous qualifications.
As part of the Australian Qualifications Framework this program is nationally recognised. On successful completion students will be awarded the Certificate IV in Project Management.
