Course Objectives

This qualification has been designed for potential and future managers and supervisors. You will learn how to prioritise your time most effectively and be able to lead staff by developing plans and providing leadership in the workplace. Being a hands-on course it creates opportunities for supervisors to gain recognition for work skills they have already obtained (RPL) fast tracking the course. The program is designed to take you on a journey of discovery where you will assume a particular position within your organisation and take a lead role in establishing strategies for supervising staff.

Employment titles may include: Accounts Clerk, Customer Service Advisor, Import/Export Clerk, Office Administrator, Student Services Officer and many others.

Selection Criteria / Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites to this course other than to aspire to a leadership position and to have access to a mentor who will guide you through the process. A literacy and numeracy test is required before commencement of all pragmatic Training qualification courses.

Qualification

As part of the Australian Qualifications Framework this program is nationally recognised. On successful completion students will be awarded the Certificate IV in Frontline Management.

Course Delivery & Content

Flexible delivery options include classroom based, distance via correspondence, online and workplace based.Pragmatic Training formally recognises prior learning (RPL/RCC) and Credit Transfer. Where possible, State/Commonwealth Government Funding will be sought.

This course includes 4 compulsory core units and 6 elective units*.COMPETENCY IS REQUIRED IN ALL 10 UNITS. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive a Nationally Recognised BSB40807 Certificate IV in Frontline Management.
