Professional And Continuing Education - PACE

Pragmatic Training is pleased to offer an exciting new addition to Aged Care training

PACE, Professional and Continuing Education, is a fee-for-service initiative, developed by industry professionals, to address Aged Care training needs in a more holistic way. Experienced trainers help Managers identify the gaps in their organisations training needs, and then plan and deliver training over an agreed time frame.

PACE Coordinator, Samantha Walters explains “What we are offering is a helping hand in planning staff training for over twelve or twenty four months. The flexibility of PACE enables many training needs be met at the one time, ensuring effective time management and a significant reduction in staff training costs.”

All PACE Trainers have relevant industry experience and qualifications, and pride themselves on excellent customer service . An Australia wide company, PACE workshops are delivered on site, which means your trainer comes to your facility.

Facilities receive a visual Training Calendar that can be attached to an accreditation application as evidence of continuous improvement, and at the end of each year, every organisation receives a detailed report on Pre and Post training outcomes. In addition, three weeks prior to any training session, flyers are sent out, as reminders for staff attendance. Staff that attend any training session with PACE will also receive a Certificate of Attendance.

In 2008, PACE workshops will cover the areas of Aged and Health Care, First Aid, Hospitality, IT, Management (Business); with workshops ranging from Manual Handling, Falls Prevention, Diabetes, Medication Administration, Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, First Aid Level 1 to 3 and many more.
