Course Objectives

The Pragmatic Training ICA20105 — Certificate II in Information Technology course provides the foundation Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills and knowledge for an individual to be an effective ICT user or employee. This qualification provides foundation general computing and employment skills that enable participation in an information technology environment in any industry. These are valuable skills that employers are looking for in today's workplace.

Course Content / Structure

Successful attaingment of the ICA20105 — Certificate II in Information Technology requires completion of all 14 units of competency. This includes 8 core units and 6 elective units*, as shown below:

Selection Criteria

A number of units within this qualification have prerequisites. These prerequisites have been incorporated into the course.

Skills Recognition — Exemptions/Transfers

Students may be eligible for exemptions/transfers on the basis of previous qualifications.

Qualification

As part of the Australian Qualifications Framework this program is nationally recognised. On successful completion students will be awarded the Certificate II in Information Technology.
